Avoid aspirin as it can make you bleed more.
You should have stopped smoking prior to the surgery.
I will have checked with your GP regarding any medical conditions that you may have and take precautions to help safeguard your health during and after surgery, if required.
Eating a healthy well balanced diet will help your recovery.
Gentle exercise as per my instructions (depending upon the procedure) is good for recovery.
