Research Interests, Publications & Presentations

I am actively involved in Plastic and Aesthetic(Cosmetic) surgery research. I publish in Peer reviewed journals.

I am involved with research in Plastic surgery of the breast. Both Reconstructive and Aesthetic.

I have recently presented a ten year series on Fat grafting (Lipofilling) of the breasts for reconstruction after breast cancer. (ORBS meeting)

I have recently presented my technique for Mastopexy (Breast uplift) and the long term follow up (BAAPS and EASAPS meetings)

I was awarded the Kay Kilner Prize Medal by the British Association of Plastic Surgeons (BAPS, now BAPRAS)  for my work on Evidence based plastic surgery.

Over the years, I have been awarded several research scholarships: Oscar Reginald Lewis Wilson Scholarship from the Royal College of Physicians, BAYER UK award and research funding from The Wolfson Foundation.

I am often invited to lecture internationally as an invited guest expert.

I have recently returned from the APSICON conference lecturing to the Plastic Surgeons of India, Mumbai 2015.

I have also worked as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon for the global research and development team (Aqualab) of Speedo International Limited.

This research was to help develop sports support garments especially for breast support.
