Body Lift
A lower bodylift is a major procedure. The surgery removes skin and fat from around the body, 360 degrees. So the scar runs all the way round the body and back again.
I performed one of these procedures, on a lady, for the TV programme “Embarassing Bodies” 7th May 2012. It used to be available on you tube to view.
It is most suitable for patients who have lost large amounts of weight and have lots of excess skin. For example after massive weight loss eg 10kg following bariatric surgery.

After losing over 10 stone by diet and exercise, Richard was fed up with the excess, loose and chaffing skin.I performed several procedures for him and there is an article on the Spire website about this.
