During the consultation process we will discuss the risks and options in detail as they apply to you as an individual.
I think that it is really important for you to fully discuss this with me before deciding to go ahead.

I will only agree to operate if I think the procedure can be performed with full knowledge of the risks, etc.
I work with the same Consultant Anaesthetists, who are very highly qualified with years of experience in Private practice and in the NHS (including intensive care).
I follow the Care Quality Commission guidelines.
All of the hospitals that I work in are CQC registered.

Guarantee
No surgery truly comes with a guarantee. But there are certain guarantees given if there are certain complications. This depends partly upon which hospital we decide to use (Spire Leicester, Nuffield Leicester or Spire Nottingham) as they all have different policies. I will ask for you to be sent details of these with the quotes.
Acute complications, such as bleeding, infection, etc. are covered and you would not be charged.
As a BAAPS Member (I have recently finished my term on Council), I have a policy, under which further guarantees against specific complications can be given, for an extra fee. (Please ask me if you would like to consider this).
