Prominent Ear Correction (Pinnaplasty or Otoplasty)
Prominent ear correction is available on the NHS for under 18s in Leicestershire.
Unfortunately, if you are over 18, it is only available privately.
I have performed hundreds of these procedures over the years and have found them to make a huge difference to patients.
Patient 1
The correction can be performed under local anaesthetic (awake) as a daycase procedure.
Patient 2
Women often disguise the ears by wearing the hair long. After correction, with the hair up. There is a scar behind the ear, on the back of it.
